About

I'm an experience designer, photographer, artist, and certified Dog trainer.

When I was 10 years old I discovered an online game called Neopets. It was a game dedicated to owning fake creatures. The main point was to explore this imaginative world, play flash based games, save up for customizations for your pet, and most importantly customize your profile page. This launched me on the quest to teaching myself HTML, CSS, and design. Over the years I continued to learn more about development and really push my design skills through other online games.

At 16 I started freelancing and building games for clients. I really found my passion when I started running usability tests to collect data and improve my game designs. It hit me at the end of high school that I could actually do this as a career. This lead me to DePaul University in Chicago where I majored in Interactive Media. I filled my schedule with as many UX and development classes that were available.

While I don’t design nerdy online games anymore, I’ve been helping a large variety of companies since 2010 as a User Experience Designer and Frontend Developer. Human-centered design will always be what drives me.
